Karachi: Pakistan Navy is conducting Exercise Sea Guard 2025 Edition II from 24th to 28th of this month. The exercise aims to evaluate the existing security procedures through all stakeholders in Pakistan’s maritime region.
According to Radio Pakistan, the exercise is being held to address various maritime challenges such as illegal fishing, narcotics smuggling, human trafficking, and climate change. In a special message on the occasion of Exercise Sea Guard 2025, Commander Coast, Rear Admiral Faisal Amin highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s coastal belt, which spans over a thousand kilometers and is enriched with natural resources.
He noted that the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Center was established in 2013 to provide a platform for all stakeholders in the maritime domain. Rear Admiral Faisal Amin mentioned that more than fifty stakeholders participated in the Exercise Sea Guard 2024, demonstrating their trust in the Pakistan Navy’s efforts toward achieving the shared objective of maritime security.
The exercise is expected to enhance joint operational capabilities and address emerging challenges to maritime security, serving as a milestone in Pakistan Navy’s strategic initiatives.
