Dubai: Pakistan and Kuwait have reiterated their commitment to further expanding bilateral cooperation and transforming their existing relations into a mutually beneficial strong economic partnership. This resolve was expressed at a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit 2025 in Dubai today.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders reviewed the fraternal relations and expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum of bilateral ties. They exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including the situation in the Middle East and South Asia.
Additionally, the two sides emphasized the immediate and full implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza and enhancing the pace of humanitarian assistance for the people of Palestine.
