Chairperson IPO emphasizes role of Intellectual Property in fostering business environment

The Chairperson Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) Pakistan and former Ambassador Farukh Amil has emphasized the critical role of Intellectual Property in fostering a robust business environment, encouraging innovation, protection of brands and trademarks. He expressed these views while meeting President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abuzar Shad in Lahore. The Chairperson Intellectual Property also highlighted the necessity of Pakistan acceding to the international intellectual property treaties that would encourage foreign investment. In his remarks, the President LCCI agreed that in today's world, safeguarding the intellectual property rights is essential for the growth of any business. He also acknowledged the valuable partnership with IPO Pakistan. The President LCCI stressed that Pakistan's business community should progress with prevailing international norms and express commitment to providing maximum support to raise awareness on intellectual property, especially with the local e ntrepreneurs and new businesses.
