Technical training vital for telecom operators: Shaza

Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja has said that technical training is vital for the capacity building of the telecom operators. She was talking to Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC), Singapore Jia Rong Low, who called on her in Islamabad today. Matters of mutual interest and relating to capacity building of telecom operators were discussed in the meeting. The CEO briefed the Minister of State about working of APNIC. He said APNIC wants to start training program regarding networking for telecom operators. The meeting agreed to forge a comprehensive plan for the training of telecom operators. Meanwhile, Pakistan Ambassador to Germany Saqlain Syedah called on Minister of State Shaza Fatima Khawaja. Matters regarding relations between Pakistan and Germany in the field of IT and Telecommunication, and facilitation of Pakistani IT companies in Germany were discussed in the meeting.
