Afghan rioters arrested during a recent protest in the federal capital have made alarming revelations.
Khayal Gul, one of the arrested individuals, said the PTI invited him to the sit-in with an offer of two thousand rupees a day and instructions to engage in vandalism.
He stated that the PTI leadership has fled and that they have been apprehended by the police.
Khayal Gul expressed regret for being misled by the PTI leadership, saying that supporting them was of no use.
Another arrested Afghan, Maula Dad, said that he and two friends traveled from Peshawar to participate in the PTI sit-in. He said they were lured by the promise of money and instructed to damage property in Islamabad. He mentioned that they have yet to receive any payment and now find themselves stuck in prison because of the PTI.
