Transport fares reduced in Punjab: Azma Bukhari

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari says public transport fares have further been slashed in the province for following a reduction in petroleum prices by the federal government for the fifth time in a row. In a statement, she said Punjab is the only province where transport fares are reduced whenever petrol and diesel prices dip down. Azma Bukhari said other provinces should also follow the Punjab government and reduce fares when petrol and diesel prices drop. Source: Radio Pakistan
