Tanveer Hussain chairs meeting on GMO soybean production

Minister for Industries, Production and Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain says there is no hurdle in the import of genetically modified soybean. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Saturday, the Minister said however, Ministry of Climate Change has some reservations in this regard. He said a committee will be constituted, which will make consultation with Climate Change Ministry and other stakeholders on this issue. Source: Radio Pakistan
