1st batch of 500 internees start working under EPD throughout Punjab

Under Punjab Chief Minister's Climate Leadership Development Internship program, the first batch of five hundred internees has started working under the Environment Protection Department (EPD) throughout the province. According to the Department spokesman, the purpose of this program is to provide necessary knowledge and expertise to students regarding environment protection and stop environmental changes. During this fiscal year, a total of two thousand internees will take part in the three months paid internship program. Internees are using Green Punjab App for creating awareness on social media, community education and reporting about environmental violations. Source: Radio Pakistan
